Here in Calgary it peaked at $1.14 a liter. That works out to around $4 + a gallon! And we refine the stuff here!
Here in Denver, the station down the street I fill up at is $2.55 a gallon. The prices sure aren't coming down as fast as they went up are they? E
Free...out of the tank at work. I put it in the truck that is supplied by work too. Life is good. I was getting a raise every day there for a while.
GAS - heck diesel is what's killing me - $3.26 just yesterday! Gas is around $2.26-9 around here for regular unleaded What's up with the diesel prices???
As little as possible. As soon as I fill up I block it out of my mind 'cuz it's hard to see the road through all the tears...
This is one ridiculous thread, go to Finland or Sweden and build a hot rod and then start buying gas (1.5 euros/liter --> you count $/gal) and that is when we are able to continue this thread!!!
Hell, I thought I was doing good till I saw those $2.29 prices. Filled up the Nissan PU and the Chevelle yesterday at the Maverick. Cheapest gas in town. Paid $2.77.9 for the 85 octane scented water. That's down about 15 cents from last week. Was getting low, didn't have much choice. Both vehicles were down to about an eighth. Filled 2 20 gallon tanks and bought 2 packs of ciggs. Came to about $110.00. I can hardly wait to get my next heating bill. The oil companies now rank third on the list of people who take my money. Only the rent and taxes are higher.
wish i used gas its 2.12 in okc but diesel is 3.39 thats all i have is a diesel DAMN WTF IS THE DEAL ............
Diesel and heating oil are made in a very similar way at the plant. So similar that one type's price affects the other type. They want to keep the prices of heating oil high, so trillions in profit can be made. If the price of diesel is dropped, heating oil has to be dropped as well, and God knows that the average Joe being able to afford to heat thier home affordably isn't in the agenda these days.
comparing our gas prices with european prices is like comparing apples and oranges... you guys have a different bureaucratic system than us. maybe europeans need to junk some of their so******t politics...
$2.64 in S. Indiana just across the river from Louisville, KY... Now I'd like to know why the guy in Indy is only paying $2.38 and he's just about 90 mi away...???
