I have a Question on 1947 Ford

    Hello I hope I can get a little info on this! I have a 47 Ford super delux sector box does any one know if I can remove the pitman arm and flip it as I need a bit more clearance for my oil pan. Are the splines on a taper fit or straight cut?

    They are tapered. It can be heated and bent then dropped in a bucket of lime to cool. After it is cooled it needs to be magnifluxed to check for cracks.

  4. you should be able to re-taper the hole for the draglink from the other side
