Stainless Steel Firewall Panel

Hey guys,
May be in the wrong place, but looking for someone that makes or can make a stainless steel firewall panel for a 47 Chevy? I have a 47 Chevy Woodie wagon that I'd like a SS firewall for.

Art, if you can find a sheet metal shop that does restaurant counters and backsplashes they are usually very used to working with stainless - make them a pattern and have them cut it out. Or get a (right size) piece of stainless 16 or 18 ga material and have somebody water-jet it out.

 

I always thought that a "pillowed"s.s.fire wall would be cool.Like the back doors of some freight trailer doors.

 

I'm making a stainless fire wall for my 40 Plymouth coupe I cut old one out made a flat panel for it welded it in I am going to put the stainless over that also going to make my inner gender out of stainless than polish it

 

Hey thanks guys for the reply. I was going to make a pattern, but just thought maybe someone may already have cut one. I was going to use "mirror Stainless Steel" for mine. So use 16-18 ga material right?

art.. my father can do this for you, he is in the business of stainless for kitchens and the like, and he has a stainless firewall in his 49 chevy..
