You see lot's of cholo style lowriders and even a few drag 64's but is there any Kustom 64's or has there been? Please post pictures if there are any out there. Thanks.
Allen Duke's 64 was very cool. My dad had his '56 F100 in this same show back in '69 For the history of the car visit here... http://kustomrama.com/index.php?***le=Allen_Duke's_1964_Chevrolet
Front bumper (and lower pan) is off a '59 Chevy, with a couple of strategic bends of course... The rear bumper is '72 Maverick (actually two because one wasn't wide enuff and the pan and license plate area are hand built of sheet metal... The taillight lenses are off a Chevette. The grille is 3/8" solid bar stock and the headlights have been moved rearward 2 inches and yes, provisions are in place to remove each side of the grille to change the headlights... R-
Theres a pretty kool looking chopped '63 for sale on here. I think it could be pretty bad *** and Kustom with a simple wheel change and some lace/flake/panel paint. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=792007&highlight=1963+impala
I have seen that car. I was looking for 64 Kustoms because that is what I have and is the next project.
It is in an old rod and custom mag.I think it was built in 67.I will find my old magazine and get more info.
