Here is some additional information about the pulley/hub:

    pulley/hub depth is 2"
the pulley is a 4 1/2" D narrow belt pulley

the one pictured has had a new shaft/bearing installed and the shaft sticks out of the pulley/hub (not cut to original length). Originally there was a sheet metal cap in the hole covering the shaft.

Thanks for any information you might have.

The fan carrier bracket # looks like it might be EAB 86328 but it also appears that some grinding was done on the top surface. EAB is Mercury, but that wasn't for a Merc engine. Perhaps this is an industrial application or marine application. Puzzling!

Puzzling, indeed! The top surface was ground at some point in its life....but it doesn't look like very much. Industrial or marine applications....good place to look. Thanks for the ideas 19Fordy.

After lots of searches and boneyard searches, I have found that the fan pulley assembly came from a '52 Ford F-1 with a 215 cu in six. I got a tip from another forum and have now found another.

It sure helps to know what you are looking for!!

Thanks for your help with this.
