I can't use a low mount or "standard" mount bracket and, if this thing is built well, it'll work for me. Has anyone used this bracket and how did it work out for you ??
    Thanks,
    -Bob

If not looks weak. Have you looked at Allen Grove (spelling) brackets ?

I used one on a '40 Ford pickup with a SBC motor, for the money worked great. Needed to shim at the intake bolt also.

have one on my coupe....arm wouldn't work for my application...and you have to shim intake bolt to make it square...of course this is a universal piece , so you have to expect some of that .....look into bills hot rod brackets....used one of his a few years back , similar design , worked slick....

I've had the speedway bracket on for 12 years, with no problem. I had to use shims in a couple places, but that was to be expected.

I have one from Allen Grove that mounts in front of the p***enger side head and sits just above the water pump inlet. It bolts to the head and water pump, really out of the way of everything. Needs to be a long pump and won't work with the short pump. It was less than $40.

I used this one from Jegg's, but shortened and rethreaded the adjustment bracket to move it in close. Not sure of your set up. I actually thought about using that Speedway bracket, but the mounts looked like they would flex.

I was also afraid of it flexing, which is why I posted here to see others experiences with them. Thanks for your input.
