Awesome story. Building a Model A Coupe now with my brother and also one with my dad. Always looking forward to Friday nights and the weekends. Enjoy your time together and get out and drive it, that's what it's all about. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

Cool story... I bought a '35 Chev std in 1972. It just happens that I was brought home from the hosp in one just like it when I was born. I wanted to get it done just to give my parents a ride in it. Sadly my Dad p***ed too soon, Mom is in a nursing home...it has been sitting unfinished for too many years..... Your Dad's grin will be bigger than yours.
I love the first picture with you guys and the car ready to tow. I have picture of me as a boy 3 years and up playing in, on or with dads new hotrod. It was always exciting when we brought home another member to our family. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Update. Dad called sun, seems he went to visit the coupe and the builder had it sitting pointed out in the driveway. Kinda odd he thought, then he was asked if he wanted to take it for a spin. Just down the street and back but Dad got to drive it. Now body comes back off for final prep for paint. Dad was STOKED. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Sad, Sad news. My Dad p***ed away in January. The coupe is still unfinished but will be at the HAMB Drags this year. It needs to make a run.
So sorry to hear about your Dad, its great that you were able to share so much and I'm sure he will always be riding with you. I lost my Dad 27 years ago and I always wish I could have spent more time with him.
Sorry for your loss, you should send the glove box door to someone and get your dads portrait air brushed on it ..
Sorry for your loss. Am just so glad your post# 101 happened... that one ride , makes a big difference. Lost my Dad at age 25 back in 1983 ; still miss him , his wit and wisdom daily...
