That is rad my friend. What's the turning circle like? It looks like I am going to have to cut away some of the engine compartment and upper footwell to get my tires to fully turn. Did you have to do any such modifications?

  3. I like where you are going with this!

thank you very much guys ! turning circle is next to nothing when fully down . haven't touched anything yet but that would be a good start with the engine compartment. I have no room with the 7" rim up front as I haven't shortened the control arms yet

That is good to know. Thank you for that information. I have already shortened my control arms an inch and a half, so I was curious if that's why my tires were rubbing on the engine compartment . Rethinking your sway bars and strut rods are a whole nother area of fun which I have not tackled yet. Let us know what you figure out so we can compare notes :)

Here's a pic of my recent acquisition, a '62 Ranchero. Been sitting in blackberry bushes for several years, complete but not running (yet). I have it for sale for $1750 but if no one buys it I will eventually restore it into my daily driver. Getting great inspiration from this thread!

I think I was called cedar lake . It was a nice show right behind the Host Hotel in Sturbridge Ma. Held by the falcon club of America

  22. Anybody dealt with Unlimited Products for fiberglass hoods, etc?

    http://www.up22.com/about.htm

I'm thinking about trying out one of their stock 62-63 FA-104 'glass hoods...

I thought maybe Big Block or Don might have heard of or dealt with 'em since they have Anglia fiberglass parts...

OOPS! Just realized one of ya'll has an Austin...

Yep. Bought a hood from them in the 90s. Great fit and nice and flat.

  24. Cool, thanks.

Although I really like the looks of the Crites tear drop hood, it would kinda' detract from the sleepy look I'm tryin' to maintain...

  27. My buddy up in Springfield, Mass, Louver Lou, said he had a chance to check out your car and talk with you at the Falcon Club thing.
He was impressed with the work....
