A buddy of mine got these in a pile of parts that were in the back of a Model A that he bought. They don't seem to be Model A parts but who knows. Any ideas as to what they may be?

Pretty sure they are cowl light mounts from a circa 1930 Nonford. There was a style of cowl light that mounted with a vertical post up through a boss on the side of the light. The other part would have merged with a trim strip at back of hood.

1929 or so cowl lamp brackets that fill in where there is a gap in the cowl band. Maybe Nash.

31Dodger you are right. They do look like they were nickel plated or even chrome.

Yes, they were originally nickel plated. Here is a similar setup for about a 1929 Hupmobile.........some have screw holes...some have studs where they mount to the body.

The Antique Automobile club of America (AACA) has a "what is it" section in the photo & video forum. Post pictures of the cowl light arms there and some one will probably know what they fit. I use the "what is it" section when I pick up an unusual part at one of the local car swap meets or have a photo of an old car that I can't ID.
