Due to my brutal college/work* schedule, I can only get away for one or two events until after next May... I may not even be able to bring MY Ford because it has fuel supply issues I just don't have time to address... But I WILL be at the Billetproof Drags if it kills me and there is a distinct possibility it could. Who else is going to be there? I see the Tech inspection info, Basic tech inspection required. Helmets and seat belts for open cars. Helmets, long pants, jacket and closed shoes for mini-bikes/motorcycles What is mandatory to race a closed car/truck ? Helmet . What else ? .
I have to check my schedule......May need to use up vacation or some sick time but I will be there. Had to miss it last year. I keep saying next year I will have my 54 chevy ready and again I have to say it this year.... Its always a blast.
Helmets and seat belts are suggested for any car. Common sense should cover anything else... reliable brakes and functioning steering are always a nice addition.
Because of our work schedules we have to pick only one event we can make in the fall, and unfortunately Turkey Run is only a month later than the drags. I really would love to go, got to run my 27 there two years ago and it is one of the most fun times I have ever had. All of the BP events are the best around, and the drags are like icing on the cake. I STRONGLY suggest that anyone who can go does so. The tech is not all that difficult and you can have as much fun running a 25 second car as the guys running way faster ones. It is just a fun day all around, with lots of very nice people in attendance. Don
