Event Coverage Even if it kills me... Billetproof Drags - Florida Oct. 20

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 4t64rd, Aug 27, 2013.

  1. Due to my brutal college/work* schedule, I can only get away for one or two events until after next May... I may not even be able to bring MY Ford because it has fuel supply issues I just don't have time to address... But I WILL be at the Billetproof Drags if it kills me and there is a distinct possibility it could.

Who else is going to be there?

Back to the roots of Drag Racing! Heads up style, run what you brung. You dont need a top fuel rail to compete, bring your stock flathead 4 banger and have a ball.

I'll be there. Unless I get a sudden infusion of cash, my car has to stay home, but I'll be there.

I want to try and make this.

  9. Helmets and seat belts are suggested for any car. Common sense should cover anything else... reliable brakes and functioning steering are always a nice addition.

Because of our work schedules we have to pick only one event we can make in the fall, and unfortunately Turkey Run is only a month later than the drags. :( I really would love to go, got to run my 27 there two years ago and it is one of the most fun times I have ever had.

All of the BP events are the best around, and the drags are like icing on the cake. I STRONGLY suggest that anyone who can go does so. The tech is not all that difficult and you can have as much fun running a 25 second car as the guys running way faster ones. It is just a fun day all around, with lots of very nice people in attendance.
