lets hear some feed back on the event,,,,

imo,,,way down on cars,,but it has been several years since i was off from work and able to go,,,,,the accapella music in side was better then the show out side if you ask me,,,,,but i went to hear,,and see a few mercs,,,not some late 70s junk i seen floating around,,,

 

Seemed pretty packed despite crappy forecast
Lots of Late Model cars though
Loads of Chebbys

 

I talked to the guy who owns that blue 54 ,real helpful guy ,cool car,he is on here but I don't know his user name.I thought the show had some really nicely done customs but was a little surprised by how many 70s cars where there.My father in law and myself both thought that the 10 parking and 22 enterance fee was too much,but that's nj for ya.

Havent been in three years now. Maybe next year.
The cars are changing a little as the people are changing. I wish the vendor area would come back around some too.
All in all a good time.

Is that Whitestone NY Hot Rod assoc ?? Could not find anything on them ??

 

Al, also nice to get a chance to talk about those 6-in-a-row engines, tho mine are MOPAR flat 6s. I had my '46 Ply there, will bring my '39 (my avatar) next year.
