Hi Everyone! Here my introduction. (Drum roll please) Anyway, I am an American living in Germany. I am not into the hot rod scene anymore because A. it is expensive as you know what in Germany, and B. just don't have the time. I built a 57 Chevy in my Shop cl*** back in AZ., and enjoyed every minute of it. When I joined the Army had to sell it. The Gas prices here are unbelievable. I did do a partial resturation on a 2500 BMW which was fun, but somehow not the same. (You are not allowed to change a whole lot on a car in Germany. Inspection h***els) I started working here in a plant making pistons mostly for the German car makers. Learned alot of cool stuff with the metric system. Have to say, the metric system is really a whole lot simpler than using our US system. Now I work for a bearing company which is also cool. (As long as I stay in a technical job). Why to HAMB? Because I am a voracious reader, and I miss all the books I used to read in School. And only here could I get some info on books that I forgot the ***le, but remember what roughly happened in the book. So I am happy to be here and will bother you all every once in a while when I am looking for something new to read. Dahuxu
Welcome to the Hamb from Chicago. I don't know where you're located in Germany, but you should check out Kustom Kulture Forever if you're close to Herten. http://www.kustom-kulture-forever.com/
welcome to the forum .... most countries over there, dont let you do to much to the cars ( some are stricter than others ) less than a hand full of nations still go w/ the US standard and everyone else is w/ the metric system ....
