I used 3M that I picked up at NAPA but would think most auto parts houses carry it. HRP

I have used DAP Alex fast dry acrylic latex silicone caulk for years. Yes, it works great on body seam seals and lasts thirty plus years.. Costs three dollars a cartridge. Have used dozens of tubes over the years and love it. Cures fast, water proof, minimal shrinkage and causes no paint problems. Goes on and works just like the high priced stuff.:D

I agree. Ran out of the 3M once and found a tube of the cheap stuff laying around so I used it to finish the job. Was amazed how well it worked.

I have used 3M brush on seam sealer but will have to give the DAP a try...

I used the tan 3M expensive stuff for years, until discovering that subfloor adhesive from Lowes/Home Depot, etc, appears to be the same stuff. It comes in the large tubes and still costs 1/3 the price. It's not latex based, looks the same, smells the same, cures the same. Try it you'll be impressed.

roofing tar in a caulking tube from lowes has always worked fine for me. doesn't dry completely, stays semi pliable.
