33-34 wire wheels

I have access to a set of 33-34 17" wire wheels building a 2 door sedan chopped 5" would you waist your time on these wires or just buy steelies from coker any pictures with 17" wires on a sedan what envolved with mounting these do you send them off to have them width changed .Thanks.

 

I have 17" on my roadster. Just a bolt on, if your running pre 49 hubs.

 

Minor correction, if you are running '40-'48 hubs just add a wheel adapter and bolt on. If you don't know what I mean by wheel adapters go to http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=8330045&highlight=stephens#post8330045

My question is how much power can you push to a set of 17" wire wheels say with 7.50x17 tires mounted up?
