Stromberg WW6-117 idle tubes

How to you remove the idle tubes on a Stromberg WW6-117?
57 Studebaker, 259...shop manual does not show a special tool.

 

They fall out, try tapping the main body upside down.

There exists a special Stromberg idle tube tool to wiggle them loose if stuck in place. It looks something like this.
