Drove the pickup to the Donut shop Thursday morning. A guy approached me and said he knew of a couple Model As for sale and he "may be able to get a phone number". I gave him my number knowing I'd never hear from him again. Wrong. Now here it is Saturday afternoon, just 3 days later and I own a 30 Model A coupe, a 30 Model A roadster, and a 60 Impala hardtop, and a boat load of parts. The coupe looks to be an old hot rod, and the sheet metal was making its way onto the roadster. Roadster ch***is and running gear looks restored and painted, stock. Got a set of 35/36 wires, some 40 ford 16x4 steelies too. Running board rack, just piled it all in my trailer with 3 guys helping. Don't know what is all there yet. Made a fair offer on the whole lot, was not a give away.
