Airtex 4149 fuel pump

Anyone have any dealings with the airtex fuel pump for their 235 straight 6? I bought one for mine but I just read a whole lot of bad remarks on other message boards about them.

I have two original Carter pumps I'm rebuilding. Airtex pumps are from China.

China very disappointing. I guess since I already put it on I will try it out but will look for an American made one to put on later. Thanks

maybe the new ones are....my old NOS aren't....hell even the box says MIUSA....
