I am going to look at some parts this weekend , the guy says he has some skirts off a 49-50 ? Chevy and they have a chrome (deluxe) emblem on them . He thinks its factory , i havent seen these yet and i wouldnt know if they was factory or if someone put these emblems on the skirts . Was there a specific year / model they would have these on ? What are the specific years (fitment) for the skirts? Which skirts fit which from 49-54? Thanks for any help , i have a 49 fleetline and already have skirts so i dont want to buy something i dont need or cant use!
Skirt fitment is as follows: 49-50; 51-52; 53-54 So a 51 chevy skirt will not fit a 49 chevy even though they look very similar. Also there is no factory chrome on any of the skirts from 49-54 expect for those scuff guards.
very similar arch but not exact which is why places like the fender skirt depot has skirts for the 49-50 and then a set for the 51-52. Two different sets.
Thanks , ill check them out this weekend . The guy is wanting to make me a super deal on (2) 235s full oilers complete, the fender skirts , original am radio (49) in nice shape he says, (3) 3 spd manual transmissions and he said hes got some other stuff hell just give me . Plan on going there saturday morning..........who knows what ill find and the price is to good to be true............................He says he just wants to clear out some stuff.
We have the same problem. I am still looking for Chevy bushwacker fender flare. But I am not yet satisfied with the other replies in this thread. But some of them are still useful. I am still looking for the one that fits in my preferences.
