Help me out! please

    im at college doing a welding course and need to build something quite complex that involves at least 2 different types of weld. i ve always wanted to built a rod so this is a perfect opportunity.
    i want to achieve some thing like this...

    which is for sale on ebay at the moment.

    i ve searched everywhere for a set of dimensionedplans and have emailed so many people... so im wondering if you guys can help me this is my last chance and any pointers would be much apprieciated...
    either 27 or 23 though 27 would be best and without a turtledeck. Cheers !

    what about any links, scaled down template or dimensioned drawings? i really need your help!

    When I went to Welding school(simi adult) in 1992,I built a front engine dragster as a project. I learned quite a lot, tube bending,tig welding.general fabrication,trig, etc. raced it,had a good time sold the ch***is,and built a rod. good luck, learn all you can send pics.:DSparky

    i hate to be the one to break it to ya, but the welding on that body is about the easiest thing to learn about building a body from scratch! many more hours in shaping the sheetmetal. i doubt you'd have it ready to go along with your welding course. you got a frame? start there!

    the frame is just that bit too big...



    the metal shaping is going to be difficult but is all part of the course ... theres not much point in welding if ya cant shape it ( so ive been told) i ve got the time and access to the tools i just dont got the know how as yet
