Hello, mighty message board, how are we tonight? My name is Franz, an apprentice Body Man in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada who just isnt sold on acquiring a Honda Civic. This is not my first old car, Since 18 Ive been horsetrading fairly well, starting with a primered black '63 falcon sedan I put 59 caddy tail lights and factory dog dishes on, through a '63 belvedere sedan, a '65 rambler 440, and now, my Style master. Wish my cars story was as kool as the guy from Kentucky a little farther down, but hell. Shes new to me, 1948 chevy Style Master sedan. The previous owners (2 back) have done alot of mechanical work, including new brake lines, master, and wheel cylinders, on to re-babbiting the 216 that pulls 'er. Stovebolt ticks along real well, 3 speed shifts beautifully, and all its 6 volt gauges, lights and "gm deluxe" heater work wonderfully. The gnetleman before me molded in the rear fenders, and painted the car, along with its outer grille bars primer gray. Adding '54 chevy headlight rings balances out the chrome. Given time, a welder, and a little dedication, I would very much like to see my chevy a chocolate brown taildragger, with whites, shaved handles, frenched antennae in the drivers fender, and frenched lakers as well. Thank you all, I look forward to bieng a part of the H.A.M.B !
