Was a great show.Heres some pics I took.Ran out of time to take pics of all the cars so if you don't see yours im sorry. more to follow hang tight
that's it.Once again thanks to the guys that put on this show.I thinks its one of the best of the year.
You got my cars. I hadn't been to the show since the first couple years. Glad i was finally able to make it this year -- even if it was just for a couple hours. Had to jet early for a wedding, but my dad stuck around for awhile with my roadster.
Wow, all great cars and pics!the roadster pickups were sweet, I'm liking the channeled '28 with the v8 60.
Killer coverage and great quality of cars! I see the Carob Coupe, most here would dismiss that car but the Rod Action article of that car being built in an apartment complex garage with a 100 foot extension cord messed me up as a kid!
Very famous MN car. Built 30+? years ago? We were both parked right near a car of some fame and didn't even know it. Although I did spend some time admiring it. Started building my rod at about same time period.
Lucky *******s would like to thank everyone for making the show a great success this year! We had a great time sharing the day with all of you and your incredible cars. We look forward to seeing all of you next year!
Thanks for the pictures Burl, and thank you to all of the guys who brought their cars out. 95% of the cars we get are all from MN here and as you can see we have some guys building and driving cool stuff.
Yep, Mr. Aas & his cool coupe are definitely famous in these parts. That Rod Action feature made a big impact on me as well. The trunk of Greg's coupe has served more Grain Belt than many bars have
I'll tell you what the Lucky *******s were REALLY lucky about -- the weather. If the show had been a week earlier there would have been people dropping from heat exhaustion all over the place. The weather couldn't have been nicer! It was a great turnout with some very, very nice cars. A perfect day to stand around and look at cars.
You Lucky *******s indeed had the BEST weather we have seen. Once again, it was one of the highest quality shows in the area, and for only one day! There were a lot of cars I hadn't seen before. We also got to meet some crazy fools who drove from Illinois and Wisconsin and Chicago to be there. Well done.
Was going to try and make it down for a little while, but other projects had me tied up. Hoping to have the car up to snuff for next year.
We had agreat time and made some new friends. Being I was one of the crazy guys who drove up expect us to come with more people and cars next year. We made an event that started in Chicago and drove up. We stoped in Fondulac WI to raise money for a hot rodder in need to get a kidney transplant and then continued on our way to MN. We helped raise $2600 dollars and made more friends along the way. I'd like to thank the Lucky *******s for being great hosts. Our clubs the Ace's C.C. from Milwaukee, the Roman Chariots out of Chicago area and the Roller Rockers out of Indana felt just at home hanging with you guys. Hope to bump into some of you still at a few of the show left this season. Keep on cruising! Scuba
