now Im not one to start issues...esp here on the HAMB..In fact, I havent been around these parts much lately. Turns out sitting in front of my computer is last on my mind after a 7 day work week. I went through and read about the changes, and for the most part I agree...there is a bunch of stuff thats filled the forum up that shouldnt be...but a vintage funny car thread with NO bs gets closed..Its a few years off the forum cutoff, but its also a historical car that was there in the heyday of drag racing...If this gets closed, then wheres it stop...the vintage sports car photos, the drag cars in motion since there are post 65 cars in there, the 64-65 comet thread since they were muscle cars? Maybe its time to add a vintage race forum to the HAMB...most of us are racers in one form or another...I know I wouldnt want your job, and thats why I try to sit back and just learn and absorb....but its been a few days and Im already thinking Im gonna see a bunch of stuff that will turn me off...

youre right...its not...so by all means, go ahead and find everything that "breaks" the forum rules..better yet, find all the stuff Ryan has approved that is just like the thread I posted.... further more, if you dont like what I have to say, dont comment...seeing as youve been here just over a year, you wouldnt know anything about what the HAMB use to be or what it became...

 

FYI racecars have always been the exception to the rule here, guess that's changed now too.

 

It's just another wannabe mod explaining the rules to someone who's been on here for quite some time then again it might be a case of imagining post count actually has some bearing on understanding what is and was.
Let the question get answered by the people who really do run the place.

 

well honestly..this is your house, but that answer right there ****s. Youre gonna end up closing a **** ton of stuff that makes this place what it is...and most likely leaving a bunch of stuff we can do without..my opinion...from someone who has been here longer then my start date, and rarely posts.

 

rules are rules . at least it wasn't deleted.

 

Did something change in the past couple weeks? I haven't been on much. I just keep seeing threads about deleted threads and such.
