I searched here and the barn and didn't really find enough of what I am looking for example wise. I would like to see some Model A bangers with lake headers and examples with hoods on them maybe (cut out one side partially for the pipe)?

Here are some done by the great Matt from Gear Drive:

Here is an interesting take on it, dropping it straight down:

    Thanks,

I like how these are, don't know if you would still call them lake headers though:

Here's mine with lakes, even though it's not a banger. I've got a hood top on it now but no current pictures.

Here's one that was done by Johnnie76 on the 29 sedan he started putting together, that I purchased from him.

  6. Here is the one I made from an old torque tube for my son's '26.

(probably not the type of banger you are looking for...)

Mine that actually ran on the lakes. There was a slip on Y and a longer collector. I don't think it's what you are after though.

Picture of my roadster at El Mirage in black and white in 1947, then in 2010. 1947 - With a banger topped with a Two-port Riley and "lakes header". Don't have that header but I got the roadster. 2013 - Still has a banger but topped with a Winfield head with the sawed-off header tucked underneath.

I'm kind of partial to this one.

I was hoping to see it done with a hood and hood sides, no luck so far

Me too, Lakes cars with FULL hoods look so good, just like real race cars. Bob :)
