Hey Jeff, didn't know you had an artsy side. One of the striped purses from the classifieds last week and Moms mailbox. Yes she really does live on Skeleton Road.
Did a bunch of plates this week. Also did this little case I bought at a(where else?)yard sale for 75 cents. Some kind of a kid's makeup case(about 6"x9")with all kinds of funky little compartments so I striped them all.The silver flake doesn't shoot too well under fluorescent lighting and the sun hasn't made an appearance in awhile so sorry for the lousy pics. One plate was for a local art show,a couple for my brother and his wife, and another for a custom bike shop I'm doing a sign for tomorrow. Hopefully my entry for the Art Bra auction will be finished tonight so I can post it tomorrow.
I would say for this sketch I used maybe 80 percent hand skills (marker/pen) and 20 percent computer (photoshop). In this sketch the backround and a couple of shadows/highlights are computer generated. Thanks for the Compliment.
Here's few my drawings this week. Both are Russian cars First: Moskvitsh Elite 408 2D ht Volga GAZ-21 2D custom -Olli-
Holy Cow, great art as always. Here is my contribution to the show with a little 1 shot, or as Barnett calls it 3 shot! And a little trick Dan tought me a few years back, it's the ash tray trick. The praying hands are done on the back side with black matt behind, it's about 10"X12". The tiki is waaay influenced by "The Great Sambino", it's on a little 6"X6" panel a friend picked up at Boeing surplus.
Great stuff by all this week,Most impressed with the russian kustoms i thought i was the only one out there that liked eastern european built kars. whodaky that plate is the bomb.W.A. hotrod show on this weekend will be striping the lemon and black 55 stude coop....
Rob/Greg - Good stuff! Tim - Those etchings are cool! Ray -Always look forward to your stuff. You're a fake plate machine!!! Here's some stuff from last week. Local 48? Plymouth.
Kinda of a light week for me in the art show but here are two parts to my "Parts Department" series I have been working on.
And finally here is a new RPU for this week and a request from sko_ford on the shoebox I posted last week w/ a 49 grill and cream wheels.
