Hello everyone, I joined HAMB a few months ago looking to build a traditional Hot Rod (28-31 Tudor), after a few months of searching and looking for body's ch***is I came across a complete 1930 Ford Tudor with a 4" chop/channel, Pete & Jakes frame/suspension, 264 nailhead and looks to have been put together very nicely. I won the car on ebay on Sunday.
I am curious if there is anyone from the Brookings South Dakota area that could take a look at the car for me, I am located in Vancouver, BC Canada and it will be quite a trek to go and take a look at the car in person. If there is anyone that would be willing to take some time to take a peak at her I would be much appreciative and will repay you for your help.

Curious why you need someone to look at it....
Isn't the time to look, before you bid?

PS looks nice in the photo.

Typically yes in a normal sale, but when its an auction it is very difficult to know if you will buy the car or not, or how much it will be going for at the end.
Worse case scenario is I would be out of my deposit and not close to 30k.

    clarification of my last post.

typical car purchase through a dealer or board = easier to arrange for inspection or to have someone look at it before comiting to buy

ebay auction car purchase = limited time frame and not knowing what the final sale price will be plays a big role in having someone go take a look at the vehicle or have an inspection done prior to the auction ending

It is a very nice car in person from what Ive seen. Ive seen it at a local show once or twice. If I remember right it has a radius arm rear end with smallish hardware, but other than that e very clean, well built car. I see it driving around town occasionally.
