I have to agree with you Safariknut about going around the panels once the lace was lifted. We did this on my roof and it gives a nice edge...
I have a question for you guys... I'm about to lace my fleetwood.. I was wondering what type of lace you guys use? Or just type that I can find in a local store. Thanks
Pretty much any lace will work, but to be sure, run a test panel to make sure nothing hinkey pops up. Speaking of popping up, I'm sure the intro police will be here in a moment... pssst, check out the link - http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=44274 - and Welcome!
Great jobs. I miss seein' lace and cobwebs. My dad used to do a lot of both. We need more paint like this, RIGHT TORQUE-WENCH?

I'm really wanting some lacework on my 64 catalina when it gets resprayed. Loving that sixties look on cars like that. Mhm
Can I sound so ignorant and ask what you guys are actually using for the pattern? Is it an actual piece of lace fabric? Or is there some kind of stencil that works better? And how heavy do you go with the paint?
