Goggle Sitges Autodromo Nacional . There is a old hi-banked concrete speedway that is just unbelievable . If i was ever in the area it would be awesome just to see. The speedway is still intact even thou it has not been in use since the 20's. Its huge !!

Not car related but,I was there a couple of months ago, found a little chain of bars, called 100M, big gl***es of beer and winecooler stuff was 1 euro, about 1.35, man that was a fun spot to go to.Didnt see a lot of car related stuff,a lot of the cars there are very small and run on Diesel, sound like little farm tractors when stopped at a light. Also watch out for the pickpockets, place is full of them, just try not to get caught up in a large crowd, thats where they work.Harvey

Not much car related there but you need to take a stroll down Las Ramblas. Just hold onto your money because the pick pockets are everywhere. I thought it was a great city and enjoyed it a lot. Dinner doesn't really start until after 10:00PM but people are walking Las Ramblas from then until 4:00AM.

Take a stroll down to the mediteranean sea. They go ******* there (warning: both young & old).

Haven't been Sitges since the mid 80's, but you couldn't been the beach for "scenery". Lots of "convertibles" sans tops. Should be a nice place to relax now that the summer vacation crush is over. dw

Don't know much about car stuff in Barcelona but everybody's right about the pickpockets. In 1995 a buddy and I were walking on Las Ramblas and I got my wallet stolen. I didn't feel a thing but this guy had brushed up against me so I reached back and my wallet was gone. So, I went after this guy and grabbed him from behind and threw a choke hold on him. I figured he had probably already p***ed my wallet to someone else (turned out he had) but I figured I had HIM. My buddy and I turned so that we were back to back and he succeeded in kicking the **** out of one of these guys who was trying to come at me from behind, all the time yelling "POLICIA! LADRONES!!" After a minute or two they got nervous and said "okay, okay" and tossed my wallet back to me. After my buddy checked out the contents of my wallet, I let the guy go.

It turns out when they finally showed themselves, there were five of them. They seemed really surprised that we had put up a fight. I fully expected to see a knife or something but we were so pissed that we didn't care. After hurling curses in English and Spanish to each other, they took off down a side alley. We went back to our hotel room and laughed our ***es off.

I was probably one of the very few people who ever got their wallet back from pickpockets. That, right there, is my best Barcelona story!
