Sorry I thought 59 was before 1965 and sorry I do not have a Ford or Chevy..............

  3. It's not the year or make that's a problem, it's your engine choice and style of your build.

I should have called it a 65 427....... look at the 62 ford salt truck thread is that a conventional build?

T personally like your blog, as I too am building a frame off 59 Lark. With an OT Big cube BBC but built SIMILAR to a 65 G***er. Come over to Hotrodders.com and be proud of your build

Get a life, enjoy the nice job they are doing, He is marching to his own tune not yours.

I have seen further out of place posts on here over the years.

REALLY excellent advice, and this post should be stickied in caps. Its SO ****ING SIMPLE, yet SO FEW seem to able to grasp this. If you are not building a traditional hot rod, dont post it on a traditional hot rod forum. Thats why I post my chevy II on a chevy II forum, my Ducati on a bevel-drive ducati forum:rolleyes:, and Metalshapes posts his mallock on Dogfight. Its really AMAZING how well this approach works!
