Well Ive just been lurking around here for about a year now waiting to get my act together and start a project. And since Ive been pretty quiet Ill do a brief intro. Yeah its not in the right section and I can copy it there too if y'all want. Names Erik, work at a custom shop doing restorations, choppers, and the ocasional honda thats been watching the fast and the funny. My first project of my own is a 47 ford truck that I took out of my grandpa's field. It finally got hauled up last week and is now in the shop ready for some work. Plan on a chop, section and who knows what else will happen. Heres a couple starting pics more to come soon of the progress.
FINALLY!!! its about time you got your own project!!! Although, hopefully you will be coming home during christmas and maybe we can chop the panel in like 3 days... whatcha think?!? Well, good luck with the truck, i wish i was there to be a part of it, cause you helped me on the panel, but thats cool. This things gonna be sweet, lets see it on the road by next summer so we can cruise, ill have the panel cruize-able by then. And, i think we need to start a new phrase... instead of "Get-er-done" it should be "Cut-er-up!" Whatcha think? GOod luck erik, keep me if anyone posted. Peace out Big E. - Brian
Well I havent been able to work on it as much as I would like but a few hours on saturdays and a couple nights after work this is what ive gotten done since my truck made it here. New floors, Fixed the farmer repair on the drivers door skin and hinge. Practiced some pinstriping on my nights I couldnt stick around the shop. Im really hopin to learn how to pinstripe someday.
And Finally today what Ive been waiting for. Got it all tacked back together and ready to weld up monday evening. Still has some fine tuning and some more stuff to come but its a start.
