what are these headers????

    hey there, just picked these up from a local hot rod shop and i cannot seem to find anything that looks like them on the net. can someone help me out with some info on these or point me in the right direction? thanks in advance...

    oh sorry, yeah i do know they are sbc, i was just wondering if custom made or something vintage that was made back in the day for bucket type of cars....

    Custom one off set built for a specific car is my take. There used to be a number of show rods running separate pipes like that.
     
  6. 60's show rod T Bucket style. Was quite popular for a while

    As for a "Brand" I would say they were custom made, as most were in that style the fit the car

    popular back in the day? lol.....hmmm im thinking about bringing them back.....looking at mounting them on my 26 roadster...any opinions, lol....oh and thanks for all the replies on the make of them.....

    Go for it! A buddy had a similar set on his '26 bucket, watch your ankles. They can leave a mark. :D

    I think they look like crushed and kinked exhaust pipe,
    No way in hell would I use them.

    i personally dont like the crush in at the bends either, but they are on the bottom? but yeah, i do appreciate any and all opinions!!!

  15. For such a small investment in time, I would say bolt them up and post a couple of pics.

    I'm interested to see how they would flow (or not) with your roadster.

    haha, i like that "wont happen twice"....but yeah, for what i got em them, i got options.....going to clean them up, bolt them up as is, might go shorter in length, who knows....but they are kinda cool to look at!!!! thanks guys!!!!
