    Hey Guys and Girls,

I've signed up here following on from an amazing weekend immersed in hot rods over here in the UK.

I've been building cars for a number of years and my very good friend, Dez, has been building hot rods for many years. After the past weekend spent photographing the stunning hot rods at the Pendine speed trials, it suddenly clicked that Dez's years of nagging me that I'd suit hot rods was correct. I'd never felt so at home a****st a bunch of cars. The missing piece of my automotive jigsaw suddenly clicked into place. It was like a revelation. An epiphany.

Tomorrow I am going to embark on a staggered schedule to sell off all the parts and also all the cars (well, most of them) down at my workshop. Clear the space and raise the funds to start on my own hot rod.

I do currently own a hot rod (of sorts) which I am working in to return to the road, but I am really excited at the thought of a traditional rod now. Most likely a Model A sedan. (anything '28-'31)

It's early days yet, but I'm here to do my research. To get in early and start seeing how it's done. Dez, I am sure, is going to be a m***ive help and inspiration, but I just know the HAMB will also be there as a source and resource to help and inspire.

    Many thanks for having me,

    Bruce.

    Many thanks for the welcome.

I've been looking at different models again today and it would seem that a 28/29 or a 30/31 Sedan would fit my criteria best. I'll certainly be keeping my eyes out for one and maybe, just maybe, would consider buying something from the States if I can raise enough funds to get it shipped back.

    Thanks again.
