Event Coverage Nats North 2013 Kalamazoo

I haven't seen a thread yet so here goes.
Anyone going? HAMB meet and greet planned?
I'll be there with the the COE and I think the 36 Chevy on board for the weekend as well as a swap spot to try and clean the garage to make room for more stuff I inevitable will be bringing home!
Look forward to meeting a few more new faces.

I don't know where I'll be parked, I just go find a spot big enough and usually don't move it till its time to go. It's just a little too big for a fairgrounds cruiser! It sure makes for a lot of walking though.

I might check it out Sat as a pedestrian. Only a 2hr drive so it makes for a nice day trip. Liked what I was seeing last year.

 

Sadly, a hotel with rats running up and down the halls a number of years ago ruined Kalamazoo for my wife and I don't go to shows without her!

 

Trying to fit it in - lots of kids' sporting events and my new roof going on... I'm only 20 minutes away so I'll have to sneak over sometime...

For those who have never been, the hotel parking lots at I-94 and Sprinkle Road exit usually have a nice, friendly, informal car show of sorts. Never seems to get out of hand and is pretty family friendly. The show is 20x bigger, but this is fun too.

I don't remember the name, (it changed twice in the years we stayed there) but it was on Sprinkle south of I-94. When the big fat mama (manager) argued with us that it wasn't a rat that we saw, (I know a rat when I see one) we got our money back and left.

 

I think that one got bull dosed.

It was a Days Inn once.

 

I saw many nice rides on the road today, heading to Kzoo.

Did anyone hear what the final car count was? I wasn't able to stay long enough Sunday to hear the official number.
Saturday seemed like there was a lot more cars this year than the last couple years.

 

I beleive they said at the awards that it was 2460.

 

Sounds about average for the last few years-a lot of nice rides there
