Spent yesterday checking out a couple leads I had regarding some cars in barns in neighboring towns. Here is what I found, both are for sale. Asking price seems high to me so they are still for sale. Cant tell you where yet until I am confident they wont take less. I would like to buy them both if I can get together with the owners on price. The blue one is an all original 1926 Dodge sedan and the burgundy one is a mostly original 1930 Ford coupe.
I believe the Dodge is a 29 Standard Six. The very distinctive body line on the side of the cowl is the give away, the bead around the edge of the fender, and the plated vs. painted headlight buckets all say 1929. I used to own one, so the details stand out to me. That being said, I'd rather have the Model A coupe. Hope that helps, and good luck.
Depends on the price , I know what your talking about when people watch Barret-Jackson one night and suddenly think that P.O.S. in the backyard is suddenly worth half a million bux just because one was on tv like theirs , if the deals right , take it , if it aint , p*** , let the next one try....
Corndog, Nice finds! I would be fairly skeptical of that Dodge being all original, though. The interior material is far from stock- I would guess that the car was redone (paint as well) in the 70's.
