Louvers in the Chicago area?

Searched and the only posts I found were 5 years old. Looking for a shop that can louver a hood for my 53 Plymouth. Hopefully somewhere close to Chicago Thanks Murf

 

I'd say that the best way to find out is to hit a few rod trots or cruises and when you see a car with louvers you like ask who did them. I've probably had 500 people ask me who did mine over the years and it isn't like asking the same guy what color his brand new one off color paint job is.

Check out Hopperstad Customs. They're out in Belvidere, but the short drive is well worth the work. They did the hood on my '37 Plymouth, and couldn't have been happier with the work or the price.

 

I found a shop in Joliet that has a louver press, 2.00 a shot. As soon as my hood gets back from Media Blasting I am dropping it off.
