Thanks to this thread I had the balls to chop my 52 chevy... pretty close to the same body style. Even know he sold it, its because of his step by step pics I went for it. So thanks buddy.

 

Damn! This thread would make a great book, but I don't care much for the ending. Hopefully, Flop will get to finish this build. Maybe with someone else footin' the bill it'll be easier to get done. Great look on your Chevy chop Driveway Builder. I have a buddy that's just about to cut the top on his '52 after studying Flop's work on this thread. Wow, I remember seeing the very first post on this car in 08' and looking forward to every single update . Crazy how time flies. Still one of my favorite 50s chop on here. Just spent a few days going through your thread off and on from start to finish. Truly an inspiring build not to mention the level of talent you have acquired at a similar age as mine (I'm 26). Have to pay ya a little respect for sharing such well documented information with the members here. Look forward to seeing any additional work you share in the future! Happy new year
