In todays customer service being ridiculed often, here is a great happening. I have an inexpensive tach, but my fourth one in four rides . The MoonEyes half sweep has kept me informed about my mills in cars very nicely. I recently had my latest one start to misread and inquired to MoonEyes about recalibration possibilites. I spoke with Mr. Go Akagawa about the issue and he advised me they can't be recalibated. He ask how long I had the unit as it had a one year warranty, upon checking it was past warranty, but this awesome gentleman ask me to return the defective unit and he would replace it at no charge even out of warranty. Can ya beat that. I first visited That facility in 1961 and when living in nearby Whittier, Ca. I would go by often just to see some super rods or customs sitting around. It is nice to share a positive experinece with ya all and hats off to a company with great integrity. Thanx Go, forever a customer of Moon Eyes Co. ~sololobo~
Man, bad-mouth a company and the thread instantly jumps to 3 pages. Give kudos to a company and it slowly descends to oblivion. I'll bump it back to the top. I think Go deserves another go. Bad pun intended.
I had the same experience with the same tach only it was a Moon distributor in Murfreesboro Tennessee (kudos to Hawk Hardware) who replaced my tach even though I did not buy it from him. Its really refreshing when someone stands behind their stuff even though its outdated. Good people.
Mooneyes is THOROUGHLY professional......they deal direct and they're always positive and pro-active. Jim
Ok. I'll bump this up to the top. I've ordered from them for years. I drove to the shop in my avatar last year and had a Visit. Great shop. Nice setup. Great people.
Mashed hit it on the head, negative b.s. flourishes, positive feedback dies a quick death. Was nice to hear some positive feedback anyway. The late great Dean Moon established the company pride, these folks carry it forward. ~sololobo~
My half sweep worked well until the day I took it off the car. Except for the fact that if I brushed my finger on the front, the needle would move on its own and become out of wack. good to know they will honor non-existent warranties though.
