I have a project i need motor trans for and the Lincon LSC seem to be cheap and plentiful my brother scored one for $300 running awesome we hit it with a nitrous kit we had and did some sweet burnouts. I was wondering if the air suspension would be able to be used on my 53 ford? Would this be a waste of time?

yeah it should have a 5.0 and an AOD trans. the airbags could be made to fit but I dont think they have much travel, I've seen them used in the back of a rod.

The engine in the LSC is the HO 5.0 and is the same as the Mustang GT. -- Chuck

Jalopy, whenever you hear an engine size in liters, multiply it by 61. It's actually 61.02 but **** that last little bit. That makes a 4.6L a 280 CI engine.

It's never 100% on the money because you can round up a litre measurement but it's close. My totally gay Honda winter beater has a 1.5L engine in it. Do the math, how pathetic is that?

280 cu.in.?? Man what a puny P.o.s.. My wife almost bought a '91 towncar with a 4.9. I cringed at the thought. I thought it should have at least a 5.0(302). Thank God she listened to me:eek: FWIW, It would probibly be ok for a lightweight rod, especialiy if you got it cheap. My little 283 dragster did go 11.27@115mph.Thanks Sparky:D
