Long Beach ****s. Its the same ***hole selling the same garbage month after month. I quit going because of this. I know you wont miss me. :D I guess if I really wanted a birdfeeder or wind chime made out of a beer can, then I'll go back. Pomona is typically only good for getting crotch rot. You can keep that ****, thank you

Aw c'mon. Keep on posting pics. No one else posts pics of the bombas. I dig 'em.

Stay around the HAMB for a while longer. It will grow you a thicker skin. It's a necessity on here. We play rough, but we're just playing. Now, go ahead and apologize, you don't have to really mean it. ;-)

I would rather look at SUV's, LOL

And as far as the same people selling........Yes they are, only reason you notice is because its a smaller meet. Those same people sell at pomona too.

Personally I thought we just went to swap meets now days to have fun, drink beer, and hope the weather is good so we can check out the chicks!
but hey to each his own.

As someone that travels long distances and attends what the varous promoters refer to as "the largest(insert event name here) of its kind", I must ad the Extremely Long Beach hi Po Swap meet to this list. And as some may know or figure out from my profile, I have worked in the past, although never in conjuncton with the swap meet, for the promoter and as such have seen what goes into making one of these events go off without too many indiscretions. All I can say to all of you So-Cal guys is be damned glad you have a show of this caliber to attend 20-23 times a year...its a sorry state of affairs for the midwest, and although there is one partiularly large meet in the Chicago area...even the Goodguys events and subsequent shows in the Des Moines & Indianapolis markets pale in comparison. I have been more of a vendor than buyer at Long Beach, but it is re***uring to know I can load up a small trailer of hemi parts and make them into small bundles of hundreds for the trip home...never had a losing experience in Long Beach. I guess its all a matter of perspective, but as an avid hot rodder, as well as someone that sells nitro parts worldwide...the remark about the gr*** being greener somewhere else will only prove true when someone else cares to invest the full time personnel and equipment nesecary to actually stage one of these events...and comes away with little more than an empty parking lot full of burritto wrappers. Thanks for this forum and the opportunity to vent, and the next time youre in Long beach and see a somewhat seemingly pale looking unthin guy from not around here...be sure to say hello...HB1
