cal plates whats are they worth

I have been looking around and I am thinking of selling these plates the prices are all over the place ive seen them from 10 bucks to 750 what do u guys think they are worth? there 51 with a 53 tag

I bought a nice pair of 1946 black plates at a pennsylvania antique shop for $30.00 a couple of years ago. I sold them on E-bay for $175.00. They are worth whatever someone will pay for them.

 

Depends if the number sequence is not currently ***igned by the DMV. If it is they are just wall hangers.

 

The frames might be worth more than the plates from someone with roots in Redding. Felix Chevrolet frames do hit 400 bucks on e-bay.

 

No kidding. Those would be really cool on our 58 TBird rolling around Redding.

they are not Clear - so they aren't worth much, you can't register them at this time.

 

Post them on eBay and let the market decide.

 

The '53 tabs are worth something to someone that needs them to go with clear '51 plates for YOM ***ignment for a '53.
