    this made me sick.
Shaun ( the kid 54 ) and I are almost there, and traffic slows down.
must be a crash, then I get a bad feeling, and I see the " Black Dahlia " head into the center divider !
the driver was OK, he was talking to the cops, but the sight of this bad *** custom in the wall was too much.

Shaun took this pic. as we drove by.

    I hope everyone was OK.

Man that ****s but that's not the Black Dahlia (SP?), unless there are 2 cars called that.

El Jefe here on the HAMB owns it and it resides in Austin, last I heard?

As long as everyones okay, sheet metal can ALWAYS be replaced. It does ****, but the Brunz's are highly talented builders. The Black Dahlia 2 will be back better and badder than ever.

Yes that does ****. Regardless of the cir***stances, in the end, the car is wrecked and hopefully repairable. I had the same thought yesterday while driving the 37'. Where am I going to find parts for this thing in the event of a misshap? I got it! Buy a parts car and stock it in the barn! Yea that's it, now I have an excuse.;)

The Black Dahlia 2 is not owned by the Jim Bruns Sr. anymore, he traded it off to a guy who calls himself "Snake?". He traded it for a chopped 59 chevy. Snake is the one who crashed it. I heard he was okay.

here's what i know, the owner, Randy, aka "Snake" who ownes the Black Dahlia II lost control and hit another Yack member named Rick in his F100, and then Randy spun and hit the wall. I heard he's ok, and this is the first pic I've seen, and it looks like if he gets a new frame and front sheetmetal he could probably rebuild. He's a friend and a customer and as i was workin on his backpiece the other day he was telling me how excited he was to debut his new flamethrowers at the primer Nats. Knowing him, he'll rebuild it, and I hope he does. if it comes to that, I have a pretty nice l***alle grille that would look right at home in the front. I heard ricks truck is pretty ****ed up too. thats all I know, I guess it could have been alot worse.

I pulled up on that immediately after it happened. Made my stomach turn upside down. Glad to hear everyone is okay. Stay safe guys.

  25. A little late info: Rany " Snake" is OK he busted his ankle and his knee. He smooshed the front end of the Black Dahlia pretty bad and the frame is tweaked up and off to the side.

What happened was he was trying to get over and some civilian didn't let him over he slowed down and went around the back but the other cars in the club were pretty much stopped getting off the off ramp. Randy hit the brakes started to fish and clipped the back of the truck driven by Rick. that spun around and slammed the gaurd rail. randy crossed all the lanes of traffic and centere punched the median. Luckily Randy's chick wasn't in the car cause she would have been tossed out over the front wind sheild.

The 59 that Jim Brunz rolls was owned and chooped by Randy. Randy traded it for the 36.

I am looking for parts for the 36. You know of front sheet metal let me know. Randy will mostlikely be rebuilding her. If not the Brunz will do it.

by the way Randy was not wearing a seat belt and is damn lucky he didn't die in this crash. the steering wheel bullet slammed into the left side of his chest and could have easily center punched him in the heart.

    WEAR YOUR SEAT BELTS!!!!
