im gunna be driving my ranchero on the free way alot eevery day and want to stuff as tall of tire as possible in my fenders , was curious how tall i could fit in there Posted using the Full Custom
Probably not much more than a G-70 X 13 under there ......... That would also be a radial 215 X 70 - 13 0r maybe a 14 too............ scrubba
I currently have a random spare on the front of my '60, due to a debris related tire and wheel destruction. It is a 185/80-13, and it clears, car lowered 3-1/2", even in turns. It is about 24-5/8" tall. It is on an OEM 13" wheel, over a deep disc hat, and a 3/8" spacer (13" wheels wont clear the caliper, without the spacer).
This is what I'm running on my 60 Falcon 2dr Wagon. P215/70R15 on the front 15x7" wheel P245/60R15 on the rear 15x8" wheel The rear rubs a little but not much The front works great You can look at the last 5 or 10 shots of my Car and see what you think
I run 195/65r15s on the front of my 60 Ranchero. It has 205/65r15s on the back. I have a '75 Maverick rear end. All on Ford 15 inch steel rims from the late 60s or early 70s. I don't think I can get 215s on there without rubbing. It's pretty close to the end of rocker panel in the front. I do have lowering blocks in the rear but it doesn't rub on top of the wheelhouse that I know of.
i have a 195 60 r 14 s all the way around and it rubs on the drivers side rear in a corner on the fender lip i got a set of air shocks im tryin to figure out if i could shove a 215 75 in there
i think it may be a little lowered like some one did leaves a while ago or more than likely they have the factory old car sag lowering kit but thats why i got air shocks
I run P195/70R14's on my 63 Falcon 2 door with a five lug Mustang/Granada wheel combo. I seem to recall HotRodDon mentioning that 4 four lug Datsun 240Z 14" wheels will interchange, if'n your runnin' 4 lugs....and I didn't just imagine the info....
