I put a gaudy tweed/leather interior in my 37 Chevy p/u back in 99 when I was finishing it and now I can not stand it,I am wanting to put a more period looking interior in it so anyone out there that has a late 30s to early 40s truck with a finished interior please post some pics as I am trying to get some ideas running around in my brain before I change it. Here is the mess I put in,I kind of have a idea on what I want to do but would like to see what others have done and since it came originally with a dark brown that is the color I am going to use.

I am going to keep the original seat and want to keep it simple and nice, right now I am thinking a dark brown with a red bead and thread to match the body. I am also thinking about a dark brown with red inserts made from late 50s reproduction cloth with pleats,I would love to do it like the fancy 57 GMC interior but that would be a little over the top.

My '37 has a second row seat out of a mini van (I don't know which one).

I have a spark plug key fob and a '35-'36 chebby car deluxe glove box door with ash tray and clock. The clock doesn't work. At some point after this pic was taken, I removed the clock and now have a shop rag hanging out of the opening.

I have one of those glove box doors and will be getting the clock converted to 12 volts soon.
