    these have been sitting and rotting on the bottom of Foss Lake in OK for 40 plus years... they found 3 bodies in the old Chevy and 3 in the Camaro... yikes!

    That's some sad business with those people being lost at the bottom of that lake for so long. Family members not knowing what happened to their loved ones.

    Looks like those two cars survived better than the '57 Plymouth that was buried in KC?

    Just incredible these cars contained bodies and possible answers to disappearance of 5-6 people.

    Here's some my scrapper friend drug out of a farmers field,
    And sold for $250 a ton!I bought the 55 f600 cab & fenders for $200 :D all but the Chevy car found loving homes (it was worse in person)

    I was really excited to see what that car looked like as my grandparents lived in Tulsa when it was buried and actually took part in the lottery. After seeing it when they "exhumed" it...not sure I wanted to win or not. Still a really cool story and concept. Too bad nothing they build today would be worth digging up in 50 years....

    I remember that event, and they were hoping the capsule was going to be water tight, and they're be raising a car in "new" condition,......didn't count on the leaks. :p :D
     
  25. No biggie; there are lots of folk who are unaware or have forgotten what Ryan wants the HAMB to be. What with all of the recent revamping and refocusing going on by The Boss, it's good for us to help each other sometimes.

    And this one. They are called the Warren Chevrolet and the Steele plymouth, both are in Lake Crescent Washington. Interesting story on them[​IMG]

    It was water tight....just the wrong way around! It let water in but sure didnt let it back out!!
