After building my tribute coupe more than 20 years ago, enjoying it displaying it with Paul LeMat,Cindy Williams,Candy Clark,Bo Hopkins,Brian Setzer, and Faith Grainger,ALL of whom signed my dash,it was time for a change.I built this car when I was 24 from a pic on my wall and freeze framing the vhs movie. Now there are so many closer and almost exact clones out there I figured I could change it a bit .All the changes I made were bolt on/off so I could put it back if I choose. However after I got it done I love it now as much as before .People cant believe its the same car it still has the 20+ year old paint just the hood grill shell and rear roll pan are fresh paint . I hope you all like the changes as much as I do .I also have a MAN A FRE for sale ,and I may sell the COVICO wheel, rear fenders, and rear bumper if any one is interested. The 1st pic is the day I pulled it from the barn where it sat since 1954 then the milner coupe then now. So now Ill finish my chopped 50,then the 34 5 window ,and fianally bring the 55 back out to the track .Maybe not in that order HA HA HA HA .

Looks great! She's got a nice profile. That rear wheel well would look good yellow too. That black area makes the tire look huge.

Much, much better..Other than Milner's car being a deuce coupe and a feature car in a movie I thought it was dorky.. Your remake is a great improvement, IMO....

  21. Very nice. No regrets, Hotrods are evolutionary and there is nothing wrong with a heartfelt honest tribute.

If anyone is interested to see how my coupe with the little small block runs I just found it on Youtube. Search The Hardcore Happening 2013 then look for video #9 and all the older milners coupe shots were it in previous years . And by the way it still has the 4 dueces on it

  30. Well said!

I'm a Hotrod lover but I liked the 55's look better than the Deuce in that film.

Looks like you have a traction issue!!! Hahaha!
