  1. I'm glad to see a build thread for this. I've been following the pictures on Instagram as well. Nice to see a full writeup along with them.

Looking good. But I think it's gonna be too low to do ice lake donuts this winter!

  5. Fantastic news Tuck...

So.... have you picked out a name?

For the baby and the car?

Congrats on both builds but I'm betting that the child will be Road ready before the car and both will be demanding much of you and your Brides time!

Hmmmm....'60's style SHOW and GO car? Chrome and candy? I don't know man.....them kinda cars are a little "flakey".......

P.S......kids rule. Make sure ya put a seatbelt at least in passenger side for the car seat. The best times ever in a hotrod are with yer kid beside ya.....

Yup!! Good to see that you survived the "test" as that is what it was.........a test to see what your made of. Now, take off like there is no tomorrrow and show us the results. With the new project/wife/little one the only thing I see that you'll be missing is sleep.:cool::D

  14. Congrats, Tuck! While I'm really glad to hear you're back building hotrods, I'm really stoked about the new lady and kid. My kid will be 40 [!] and we have a lotta fun together with cars/hotrods/racing etc.

Awesome thread! Being a Dad is the best thing I have ever had the opportunity of doing. Nothing beats being a father, and a Hot Rodder. I try to have my son with me as much as I can when messing with cars or just hanging out. Good luck with the build, but better than that good luck with starting a family. Nothing better.

(-: (-: thank you thank you thank you to everyone-

Danielle and I are so excited! We've been busy getting ready for the wedding next month- and I started teaching again so I've been busy writing curriculum and working on a wind tunnel I'm building at school-

    - I plan on posting an update soon- I bought a bunch of polishing equipment- I got some mag wheels last year- vintage ets and I got everything to restore them- the mags are pretty good- 15x6- just a few minor blems that should sand and polish out- Then I can mount the rubber!!
