I just got this 544 after IR has set for some years. The care does run but doesn't stop so well. I am going to try to fix it up and turn it into a nice little car. Anyone that knows anything about this car are where I can get any parts for it I would greatly appreciate the help. I will be glad to keep very want who want to know posted on how I'm doing.

I have parts for these cars. If you buy from me I can save you money as I get a discount from the wholesalers and there are lots more sources than listed above. I also have a website that can be used for ordering parts, but you can't pay for anything. It's far from complete, so if you don't see something you need, just ask. I'll contact you by e-mail or phone with payment and shipping options, however credit cards or PayPal are fine.

I've dealt with IPD since the 70's. They have great stuff, however their pricing ain't always so great. I sell DOT approved PVC covered braided steel brake lines for these cars for $90 in the color of your choice. They sell theirs for over $100 and no covering. Braided steel might as well be a hacksaw without some protection. And I buy from the some of the same sources as they do, and they are local to me, not them. I can drive to the warehouse (actually, they deliver 4 times a day, and that includes everything Redline/Weber sells). Everything has to be shipped twice with them.

I work on these on a daily basis. Oh yeah, I have used parts as well, do they?

Here's some pics of a car in for service. It's a 59 with a B16 1600cc and 6 volt electrical system. Yours should be B18 1800cc 12 volt electrics. Earlier 444's and 445's (a wagon version) had a split windshield.

BTW I supplied the NOS door striker in this pic. Try getting one of those from the other suppliers.
