I am going to run a inline fuel pump on a carbed modern 302. Any suggestions on what pump to buy?

It depends on how much you are looking to spend...Mr Gasket makes a relatively inexpensive electric pump that makes a constant 4.5-5PSI for about 30 bucks at your local parts house....then you can get into some more expensive units from Holley etc. What kind of a budget are you working with?

Jeggs has a house brand that resembles the big Holley. I have used them for a boost pump to prime a car, and to insure volume when racing. I use a relay kit to wire them. Works great.

Whatever you use, remember they like to push fuel, not pull it.
I went through one evry few weeks when they were pulling fuel out of my tank from the top feed. Now that I modified my tank so it drains into the fuel line I have no issues. Even with (EFI) high fuel pressure needs its doing just fine.
When pulling out of the top, i kept a spare behind the seat so I could swap it out on the roadside, they died that often. (Mr gasket/ NAPA house brands)

Yep. I ran Holleys forever, but recently switched to a Carter. Much quieter and it works without a regulator on the 331 Ford in my 27. That is the brand I will be running from now on in everything.

Put a good filter BEFORE the pump, and get a filter that is designed to work with electric pumps, not all are.
