Projects picked up turdy7 olds and 47 hudson truck today...

    today i hauled home a pair of HAMB FRIENDLY cars that being a 37 oldsmobile L37 (straight8) sedan and a 47 hudson truck.
    the olds is nice and restorable/rodable while the hud is a tad rough but anything is possible.....right?
    anyways dont know what im gonna do with them.... bought them because i could...
    anyone ever hopped up a an olds 257 stra8?

    Of the two I think I'd rather have the Hudson. A friend of mine had one with a Hemi in it for a lot of years that I always liked. The Olds will make a great looking car when it's done though.

    47 being the last ear for these and from what i read the only made about 3,000 so these are fairly rare
     
  5. Twice the fun, eh? Our family's first car was the '41 Pontiac in my avitar, and that was close enough to your Olds that I know you'll enjoy the room and cruise factor. As for the Hudson pickup, just about the neatest thing. I like all trucks, but Huds and Studes really warm my heart.

    Was that Bob Webber in West Richland with the Hudson truck/hemi?

    He may have bought it from the guy I knew in Yakima. His name slips my mind right now as I haven't seen him for close to 20 years.
