    Fantastic work, Mike Rodgers! Thanks

  4. Thank you to everyone for the amazing support and reviews! We had no idea so many people would have so many great things to say about the event! We have spent some time working on the store this week, there are many new items from the Event that we are making available to the Public. We have shipped items to Canada, Australia, the UK, and of course all over the US. The best thing you can do to support us is sport our merchandise and spread the word.

Check it out here: http://hotrodhillclimb.bigcartel.com/ or from our website http://hotrodhillclimb.com/store

My sincerest thank you to everyone!

  5. So Many Great photos!

This is one of my favorite shots of Jim and Mona Nielsen with their grandson Nicholas.

I saw Jim yesterday, tickled and smiling, he told me his grandson Nicholas called him Sunday and asked. "Grandad, can we go race the roadster today?"

This is our new generation, I'm so pleased he's got the Hot Rod bug!

And a fine Hot Rod his Grandpa has! Jim's Flattie features an early Edlebrock "Slingshot" manifold that Jim's dad purchased before the war.

  6. Having the "time of their life", Chris and Tammy Marshall joined the Hot Rod Hill Climb from Overbrook, KS! I'm honored that so many people made the trip to Colorado and braved the weather to make this event a success!

    Pshaw...
They only drove about half the distance to Detroit.

The Long Distance Award winners were the blokes we met from Florida! That's over 1800 miles each way!

  8. That pic of Chris and Tammy bloody rules!

  9. I have a few caption corrections that I'll be posting on some of my image descriptions this evening. Please let me know if I've messed up or missed anybody. I was going by the event program for car and driver ID, and I believe there may have been some late entries, changes and unmarked cars that made it challenging to get correct. Thanks for all the kind words.

Mike - Let's do this one again next year!

What is the likelyhood of this becoming annual. I regret missing this. I enjoyed all the photos, thank you.

  11. If you have any action shots of the shitty, blue Chevy pickup (34c) I'd love to see them! Thanks!

Here is the video of our run on September 14, 2013 at the 60 Anniversary Hot Rod Hill Climb. The car is a 1932 5 window coupe powered by a Model B four cylinder engine with a CRAGAR overhead valve conversion.

So many cool pictures and videos! I think the spirit of the event was well represented. I know I won't be the only Suedes member there next year!

This was the event of the year. Needs to be a summer monthly event like June, July, August and September. Great job Mike on all your hard work you did to make all this happen.
