Well, after hassling with this for several attempts, I thought I had it, but after getting rockers and push rods back together, the middle intake is sucking air and one exhaust is blown out.I'm sure I bent that metal gasket so bad, it didn't fit right on the bottom. And the intake extensions are kind of a hassle. So I'm thinking someone quicker than me has some tips on this, It's fenton exhaust and stock intake.
Its tough, no doubt about it. It is really best with 4 hands, but I have never had that. I start with 4 studs just to balance the intake and exhaust together. sort of get one exhaust started with the intake. then sort of get the other exhaust. I use studs with the keeper and a nut just enough to hold the thing. then carefully start to tighten them all up one turn at a time. Hold with one hand and tighten with the other. Open end wrenches. A heat plate helps too It sort of balances everything. But I put that on when everything is almost snug. One tip, change the studs to the stock set up bolts as soon as you can. You cant swap them out when its all tight to the head
Thanks, that's the kind of tips I was looking for. You've been my go to guy on this simple, yet frustrating project.
